The holiday season has now two days Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Those of you who start shopping thurday on Thanksgiving Day find some of the biggest sales. While other shoppers choosing to make purchases online still find great deals.
Thanksgiving is a special time to spend with the ones you love and enjoy good food. However with the biggest shopping day of the year approaching it is difficult not to think about what you can purchase and the savings.
Black friday I decided to check out the sales being given for online purchases to some of my favorite stores. Steve Madden had 25% off and Free Shipping, how could I not buy something. So I bought two pairs of shoes, one in each color. Than on monday morning I recieved a text on my mobile Steve Madden purchases were 30% off and Free Shipping. I bought another two pairs of the same shoe, this time in leopard and red. A sale automatically makes you want to buy something even though you may not need it.
Black Friday relies on a few retail strategies: Sell everything as cheaply as possible and magnify a tiny profit through volume. Other stores markdown only a few items hoping customers will purchase a few full priced items along with the sale items.
Now theres Cyber week I think the ultimate goal for stores now is for customers to shop until they have no more money left.
The Walmart Cyber Monday 2012 sale started on Saturday. New deals and new sales everyday. The new deals in the Walmart Cyber Week Sale include today $44 iPod shuffle 2GB with Bonus Accessory Kit, $139 10-inch Android 4.0 Tablet with Dual-Core CPU, $288 37-inch JVC 1080p HDTV, $198 32-inch Seiki 1080p HDTV and $139.97 Lego Star Wars R2-D2.
