moreaboutmarketingJanelle Monáe is expanding her brand. After becoming CoverGirl’s newest spokeswoman, the singer lines up her next endorsement gig for Sonos. This commercial is a great start to the holidays. The commercial features green and red furniture and also a great product. In the commercial, Janelle invites members of her Wondaland Arts Society over to her home in Atlanta Georgia. With the touch of a button on her iPhone, she starts the party with the Sonos Wireless HiFi system, taking the party from the living room to the closet to the bedroom.
After seeing the Sonos commercial I wanted to know more about the band. More about the songs being played. So I have some answers. The song lyrics are "Were far enough from heaven now, we can freak out" by Deep Cotton and the bands name is Wondaland Arts Society.
"Having a wireless system has allowed us to take in more music"she said. One of the things that I love doing is changing the songs if I’m in a different room and people are partying and having a good time,” she said. “Songs are just coming on and they don’t know who’s controlling what. I love being the mastermind behind the whole mood of the party.”
I love this commercial because it makes you want to dance, and it makes you feel good. Janelle Monae and her band seems very fun and the house party looks like somewhere I would like to be, enjoying time with my friends.
